In the light of the latest Covid-19-related restrictive measures we hereby inform you about the following :

The Ticket Office of Richter Hall will be closed between November 11 and December 11, 2020.

Our 2020, November 18 concert dubbed "Bogányi" is now scheduled to be held without audience present. However, it will be broadcast live in Bartók Radio station from 7pm on.

Change of date for Tribute to John Williams show

Dear Patrons, we hereby inform you that due to the current Covid-virus situation we regrettably had to cancel and find a new targeted date for our long-awaited Tribute to John Williams show. Therefore, instead of October 17, 2020, the new date of that presentation is October 9, 2021.

Season-opening press conference 2020/2021

Season-opening annual press conference has been held in Richter Hall’s Festival Room by the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra hosted by director Géza Fűke, and artistic director Kálmán Berkes. The event was all about summarizing the happenings and experiences of the past six months, and introducing the forthcoming new orchestral season.  Mayor of the City of Győr, Dr. Csaba Dézsi, was also present at the conference and appreciated the high-level professionalism of the orchestra, as well as the solidarity and togetherness during the coronavirus pandemic. At the end of the event, a shirt with the new logo and a „Classical Music Mayor” lettering was gifted to the mayor by the management of the orchestra.

The much-awaited "Amadeus Live" soundtrack concert is now rescheduled to be held on March 18, 2021, at University Hall.

MILLIONS DONATED TO GYŐR BY GYPO

The Győr Philharmonic Orchestra has just paid 3 740 000 forints into the Győr Aid Fund created on March 19 by the mayor of the city, Csaba András Dézsi. Smaller and larger amounts are continually being received to help the fight against the new pandemic coronavirus. The money is mainly used to purchase protective clothing, gear, and life support systems. Contributions also help those who had sadly lost their jobs as a result of the emergency situation as well as those who now struggle to make ends meet.

Notice - Kékfrankos Season ticket

Dear Patrons,

As an extraordinary measure in this time of global fighting against the epidemic danger of coronavirus, the Hungarian government has declared a national case of emergency. As of March 11, 2020, indoor events exceeding an audience of 100 persons or 500 thereof at an outdoor event are from now on forbidden. Therefore, as of March 12, 2020, all concerts of the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra had to be cancelled until further notice.
Also, for your information, the entire current Kékfrankos Season Ticket Series is now planned to be post-dated to the summer of 2021. Here are the new dates for you:

Dear Patrons,

As an extraordinary measure in this time of global fighting against the epidemic danger of coronavirus, the Hungarian government has declared a national case of emergency. Indoor events exceeding an audience of 100 persons or 500 thereof at an outdoor event are from now on by law forbidden. In light of that our movie soundtrack show "Amadeus Live" scheduled for March 26, 2020, is now sadly cancelled, and at the same time postponed to a future date yet unknown.
