The music of James Bond
Melodies and songs of the famously popular 007 movies will fill the air played by the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra and starring four sensational singers at the Cave Theater in Fertőrákos. To help re-live the magic of the James Bond movies some scenes from the respective episodes will be projected on a canvas mounted up behind tyhe players. Conductor of the evening is Alex Johansson.
Salute SopronDrum!
International Percussion Festival dubbed "SopronDrum" is set to be preambled by a Győr Philharmonic Orchestra concert appropriately entitled "Salute SopronDrum". Not surprisingly pieces dominated by percussion instruments (by L. Bernstein, Zoltán Kodály, Emmanuel Séjourné, and George Gerschwin) are selected for the program conducted by Péter Kóczán.
Featuring Kinga Várallyay on piano.
